At least 24 dead and dozens injured by collision locomotive in Cairo

At least 24 people were Wednesday killed in an accident with a diesel locomotive on the biggest station of the Egyptian capital of Cairo. Also, 54 people injured.

The diesel locomotive is to have at the station Ramses in a maintenance workshop on the runaway. Then blew the engine and broke a fire in the station.

On images is to see how thick black puffs out of the station. There are several bodies on the ground.

The Ramses railway station, also known as Misr, is the largest railway station of Cairo. It is in 1892 and built in the years thereafter, several times renovated.
