Aspiring actress, believed dead after going missing; the friend commits suicide after police chase

Police believe Adea Shabani is dead after going missing last month.

An aspiring actress who mysteriously disappeared from her Hollywood apartment in the last month is presumed dead, and the man she had a relationship with suicide Thursday after a police chase.

Adea Shabani, 25, a native of Macedonia, came to the United States less than two years ago for a career in acting. They had been living in Los Angeles when she was last seen Friday, Feb. 23, 2018, in the near of her house. The police confirmed FOX11 that family and friends believe Shabani is dead.

Chris Spotz, 33, who is also an aspiring actor, was linked to Shabani romantic. KTLA reported Shabani and Spotz met, the actions of the school.

The Riverside County Sheriff’s Office said Spotz led officers on a police chase in a stolen truck on Thursday. Spotz allegedly had a passenger in the stolen car but stopped to let the person out before you continue with the chase. The driver shoots himself in the head as officers attempted to deploy a felony traffic stop.

Adea Shabani was last seen on Feb. 23, 2018.

The authorities told NBC Los Angeles that the vehicle would have been used in a murder. Further details about the murder were not immediately available.

Police believe Shabani was killed in the area between Hollywood and Sacramento. Officers have asked anyone with information to come forward.

The police continue to search for Shabani’s body, and its mysterious disappearance. The young woman’s mother hired a private detective to help in the search. They also flew in from Macedonia to help with the search.

The authorities are still looking to Adea Shabani the body.

Family and friends became worried about Shabani after she was not active on social media and was not called back.

“This is not her, this is not her,” Emma Joe, a friend of Shabani, told KTLA earlier this month. “There is something wrong with her, we don’t know where she is. It is just so sad, we hope she’s alive.”
