Asics stops after 22 years as a clothing supplier Orange-olympians

Sportswear and footwear brand Asics terminates after 22 years of cooperation with the Dutch NOC*NSF.

The Japanese company reported Monday that both parties “in good harmony” have decided the contract not to renew.

Asics dressed the Dutch olympians since the Winter games of Lillehammer in 1994.

“We have wonderful years with each other. We have, since 1994, every two years TeamNL in Asics clothing stitches during the Winter and Summer olympic games and that we have always proudly done,” explains Paul Hartman, sportmarketingmanager of Asics, the decision.

“It has helped to increase our brand awareness within the sport.”

Asics also supplied apparel to the European Jeugdspelen, the Koninkrijksspelen and National sports week. NOC*NSF hopes to have this week a successor to present, let a spokesperson when prompted, know.
