Asia frontman John Wetton (67) died
John Wetton, who, in the eighties, the British rock band Asia is founded, it is Tuesday morning in his sleep at the age of 67 passed away.
He was suffering from cancer, reports TMZ.
Wetton played in the seventies and eighties in bands such as King Crimson, Roxy Music, and Uriah Heep, but amassed only really known when he’s supergroup Asia in 1981 founded. Asia is known for songs like Heat of the moment and Only time will tell.
The singer left Asia temporarily in 1983, but returned later back to a few albums to work. In 2014 appeared the last album, Gravitas.
