Aruban ex-minister Paul Croes gets four years in prison for corruption

The court in Aruba has ex-minister Paul Croes Friday to four years in prison.

Croes has as a minister against payment dozens of permits to companies provided for the employment of foreign workers.

He accepted except money also all kinds of goods and liquor to his services. In addition to Croes were in this business more than twenty people; most of them were community service imposed.

The ex-minister of Social Affairs, Youth and Labor should also be nine years of no function as a politician more fulfilling. The Public Prosecutor (OM) had accused Croes, in particular, that he has three years left to reward for the issuing of work permits.
