Arrests for drug trafficking via the dark web
The police on Tuesday three suspects arrested in an investigation into the trafficking of narcotics through the so-called dark web, the hidden part of the internet. The drugs are then via regular postal parcels sent. That, the prosecution announced.
The three, a man from Amstelveen (36) and a man (40) and woman (31) from Amsterdam, were Tuesday morning arrested in their homes. In total, the police four houses, a cottage and three hard to find in Amsterdam, Amstelveen and Zandvoort searched.
Hard to find in nyc was filled to capacity with soft drugs and supplies for the production thereof. In another box the police discovered a safe containing a large quantity of soft drugs.
Furthermore, the police under more 13.000 euro in cash, fifteen expensive watches, scales, sealmachines, laptops, cell phones, marijuana and pre-rolled joints in fittings.
The investigation began trading in early January of this year, after the interception of six parcels with xtc, hashish, MDMA, lsd, cocaine and amphetamines.
The suspects, both arrested men, among others, of the drugs to have transported and shipped to various countries. The TO suspect that they did this for, or in cooperation with a vendor on the dark web.
