Army: to Barricade in Maryland post ended with man found dead

ABERDEEN PROVING GROUND, Md. – Army officials say a man who barricaded themselves in a house on a U.S. Military installation was found dead after a 17-hour stand-off.

The Baltimore Sun reports the barricade situation began around 8 a.m. Thursday ended with the Aberdeen Proving Ground emergency officials and support agencies, entered the home about 1 pm and Friday. The newspaper quotes a release of the installation identification of the man, as a soldier assigned to Kirk U.S. Army health Clinic at Aberdeen.

His name has not been released.

The man was alone in the house when a concerned family member reported he had locked himself in. People who live on the streets around the house and spent the night elsewhere as a precautionary measure.
