The Army of the new weapon will look like a light machine gun, but will the M1 Abrams Main Battle Tank-style rays power literally at the fingertips of the AMERICAN soldiers.
The new light machine gun will weigh less and shoot farther. It must be an AMERICAN soldiers more lethal and improve their speed and mobility, while improving safety and security in the future to fight.
The Next Generation of Squad Automatic Rifle (NGSAR) may, instead of around 80,000 Saw (the M249 squad automatic weapon). The well-known and beloved M249 Saw were all manner of beasts – now the Army of the light machine gun is going to be even more powerful.
Armed with the NGSARs, soldiers will have the confidence of knowing the new weapon can be used for the stop of the power against advanced opponents that come to fight in the advanced body armor.
INNOVATIVE PROJECT MAKES USE OF LEGO AND SMARTPHONES IN THE FIGHT AGAINST THE UNSEEN, DEADLY WEAPONS
It is intended that the arms of the pressure in the combustion chamber to achieve similar levels to battle tanks. Recent conflicts have demonstrated that the currently issued weapons are not sufficient in addressing the challenge of the forces with the defense of innovation and access to modern equipment.

Even if a threat is around 2000 meters away and seemingly well protected, the new weapon will blow by means of enhanced body armor.
Distance, precision, ergonomics and lethality needs to be improved in the new generation of the weapon. Infantry will also be able to take advantage of new, specially designed, chiller store, plus lighter weight of the balls.
Shine like a battle tank
It is intended that the NGSARs to fire bullets at pressure levels similar to those achieved by tanks as they fire. Rounds will break down by means of an advanced opponent’s body armor, even at a distance, allowing soldiers to shoot accurately, while maintaining a safe distance from the threat as possible.

The Army wants the new weapon pressure in the combustion chamber to be between 60 and 80 KSI (kilopound per square inch). To put that into context, the Army’s M1 Abrams main battle tank fires that the pressure in the combustion chamber. Rifles tend to be about 45 KSI – so this will certainly be higher.

How will it be different?
Currently, M249 SAW weight when empty is 17-pound – this new weapon weighs less than 12 pounds. The ammunition weight is also reduced. It is intended that the new ammo to 20 percent less than equivalent brass weight.
With the brought down, the Army also wants to 35 inches long or less. In terms of distribution, both the automatic 14 inch, and the semi-automatic 7-inch have an average radius of 400 metres (1,312 feet).
The fire control, including day and night optics, a maximum of three pounds. The rate of fire of 60 rounds per minute with 3-round burst for 15 minutes without a barrel change or a cook-off.
Lightweight, advanced new ammunition
The Army is looking for a Goldilocks solution for ammunition that is suitable for the current and future conflicts. It is to travel at sufficient speed, but with enough mass to be effective against enemy forces protected by the body armor. 7.62 mm ammunition has been proven to have too much mass and not enough fuel. The problem with 5.56 mm is the opposite – not enough mass to penetrate armor.

Developments such as this new light machine gun and new ammunition for soldiers, are very important. It has been clear for some time that there is a need for a better solution against enemy forces protected by sophisticated body armor.
TANK-KILLING ROBOT UNVEILED
Saws are effective in combat scenarios with enemies unprotected by armor. However, there are threats from countries with advanced defense programs. If there is a conflict with a country like Russia and China, for example, syringe it is important soldiers are equipped with weapons that can stop the opponents of the wearing of armor.

The extensive product range will provide an advantage in this type of conflict, such as enabling the US troops to move lighter and faster, thanks to less weight in the new weapons.
The Army recently awarded a contract to Textron Systems for the development of a working prototype NGSAR. The company is planning to rely on their Cased-Telescoped weapons and ammunition that is already incredibly successful in remarkably reducing the weight and lethality.
Textron plans to deliver a magazine-fed system, intermediate caliber, high speed, the prototype NGSAR.
The new, powerful weapons in the hands of the soldiers as soon as 2022.
