Armin van Buuren gives start build music studio in hospital Utrecht
DJ Armin van Buuren has Tuesday in Utrecht, the go-ahead was given for the construction of the Armin van Buuren Muziekids Studio at the Princess Maxima Centre childhood oncology group.
Van Buuren hopes that the patients of the kinderkankerziekenhuis in the music studio as a child.
“I think cancer is a terrible disease, that must, of course, as soon as possible from the world. I will give me all the possible ways to bet, but what can you do as an artist?”, asked Armin for the camera of the ANP. “I’m not a doctor, I don’t do research, but I am convinced that music can make a positive contribution to the healing.”
In the studio will be not only dj stuff, there are also different instruments. “You can even Armin van Buuren to play if you want, but you can also Guus Meeuwis with a guitar. All of you go but sit at a keyboard, or go screaming into a microphone.”
Armins commitment goes further than just my name on a plaque at the front door. “I’ve been here before, have equipment donated and I already have a gig for a number of children.” The dj hopes to the lives of the young patients to improve. “If only 0.1 per cent, then it is more than worth the effort.”
