HOT SPRINGS, Ark. – Arkansas police said Wednesday, a quarrel about a stolen excited hot springs man to the point that he killed three friends for the asking of another to help him dispose of the bodies.
A statement said Nicholas Lewondowski had gone to James Coble house with three friends Monday night. While there, the four guests were arguing over someone in the group stealing the goods of someone else in the group, the document said.
“Lewondowski got shuffled with all three of his friends,” and they went to the house of a person is believed to be one of the victims, detective Mark Fallis wrote. “When Lewondowski back to Coble’s residence the next day …, he told Coble that he had killed three people.”
Coble said he helped Lewondowski move vehicles away from the crime scene and that the suspect nailed to a door.
“Lewondowski told Coble that he would probably need help disposing of the body later, and would contact Coble in the next day to do it,” Fallis wrote. “Lewondowski stated that they would probably just burn the residence down.”
Coble called the police, who found the house and the backdoor is open. They found the three bodies in pools of blood. The names of the victims were not released pending notification of family members.
Lewondowski was held without bond on three capital murder complaints. The jail records did not have a lawyer for him.
The deaths were the first of two triple murders were reported in Arkansas in a 24-hour period, Monday and Tuesday. Three members of a family found dead at a Little Rock apartment Tuesday afternoon.
