At the beginning of Treadwell, his wife, wrote on Facebook that she had just spoken to him on the phone before he was killed. She wanted him to have a happy marriage. “Thank you, God, for allowing me to have that last conversation with him, so I could tell him that I love him!” she wrote.
“May you rest in peace my dear sweet hubby, and a cowboy (that’s my nickname for him!) I’m going to miss you all so much!!!”, she said in a Facebook post in honor of her late husband. Treadwell was a father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
“We are deeply saddened and shocked by this loss. Our condolences go out to the families of Harold Treadwell’s, and all those affected by this tragedy,” a Lyft spokesperson told Phoenix’s KNXV-TV in a statement. “We have been active in assisting the enforcement of the law, and will continue to help in any way we can.”
