Ariel Winter saves actor David Henrie for the carry of a loaded gun to the airport

Ariel Winter hit, the actor David Henrie on Twitter Tuesday after the 29-year-old was reportedly arrested for carrying a loaded gun to an airport earlier this week.

Ariel Winter is speaking out against actor David Henrie after he was allegedly arrested for carrying a loaded gun to an airport earlier this week.

“So…you don’t notice the *loaded* gun in your pocket when you are packing for the airport????? In other words…why was your gun not safely stored in a place where you knew where it was, and why in the f–k was it loaded??” the “Modern Family” star wrote on Twitter Tuesday.

As reported earlier, Henrie, 29, went through a TSA screening at Los Angeles International Airport Monday morning when agents allegedly discovered a M&P Shield 9mm pistol is loaded, according to TMZ.

Per the outlet, the former “Wizards of Waverly Place” actor was immediately detained and then transferred to a nearby police station.


After the incident, Henrie took to Twitter to apologize, saying that he was “humiliated” and “embarrassed.”

“I take responsibility for the situation at LAX today,” the “How I met Your Mother” star wrote. “I accidentally brought my legally owned gun is registered in my name in at the airport. I am so sorry for any problems that it caused, but I am grateful for TSA’s efforts in the implementation of the safety laws that are to protect our beautiful country.”

He continued: “More than anything I’m humbled and embarrassed that this happened. But I am thankful to the TSA, the LAPD and all involved for their kindness and their professionalism during this process.”

Winter, 20, posted on a separate tweet in response to a social media user, stating that they are “happy” Henrie apologized, however, noted that there was a “bigger problem.”

“If he is not a celebrity he would just be able to say sorry, and walk away after bringing a loaded gun in his bag at the airport?” questioned Winter.

She added: “I am a licensed gun owner. I would never, ever accidentally my firearm everywhere. I close them legally and know where they are at all times. That would be a deadly mistake.”

According to People Magazine, Henrie, who has not yet responded to the Winter ‘ s tweets public, is expected to appear in court on Oct. 1.
