Ariel Winter is taking a break from Twitter. “She needs a moment to breathe,” her rep told Us Weekly in a statement on Friday.

On Friday, the “Modern Family” star’s rep explained that the Winter, 20, has decided to stop tweeting as a result of the “constant negativity” she encounters.
“Ariel has taken a break from Twitter and the cooperation with the commenters on her other platforms by the constant negativity she experiences,” the actress’ rep told Us Weekly in a statement. “She needs a moment to breathe and enjoy herself, without judgment.”
Winter, whose Instagram account is still active, has previously tackled life with the constant scrutiny of the fans and the paparazzi.
“I am not trying to be pap’d everywhere I go, I’m literally just LIVING, and unfortunately I can’t do that without the paparazzi following me around every day,” Winter explained in September 2017.
She continued: “I’m not trying to show you my a-in short pants when I go to the grocery store. I’m going to try to live my life.”
Last week, in the Winter on the screen of the little sister of Sarah Hyland, came to her defense, slamming ‘pervs on’ who wrote inappropriate comments on a recent photograph of the Winter placed.
“To all the pervs on comment on this post? GETOFFLINE AND GO BACK TO YOUR BLOWUPDOLL YA CREEPS!,” Hyland, 27, said after the photo allegedly amassed inappropriate comments with regard to the Winter ‘ s body.
