Singer Ariana Grande has Wednesday on Twitter get short shrift with the criticism that they got after it became known that in August they will perform at the Pride Festival in Manchester. By that announcement, the ticket prices doubled and critics speak of “the exploitation of the lgbt community”.
So it was on Twitter a message rewarded with 61.000 ‘likes’ which read: “Ariana is promoting the festival, while they are straight (as far as we know) and the prices are doubled. That smell rather to exploitation of the lgbt community.”
In a subsequent long message on Twitter, showed the 25-year-old American singer is to know the concerns of its critics to understand, but itself have nothing to do with the ticket prices of the concert. Also, she wants to not advertise itself as “the hero of the LGBTQ community”, but to them, only a “special feeling”.
Manchester Pride is a lgbt festival, which is held annually in the summer. The next edition is scheduled from Friday 23 August to Monday 26 August.
