Ariana Grande has apologized to Kanye West after the rapper accused her of the use of his battle with Drake to promote a song.
In a series of tweets on Saturday, West addressed his feud with the Canadian rapper and his mental health. On Thursday, West unleashed more than 100 tweets in the next day saying Drake threatened him.
Without mentioning names, Grande tweeted Thursday that she was aware of “adult men argue online”, but encouraged her fans to check her and Miley Cyrus’ new songs that were released later in the night.
“Boys, I know that there are grown men fight who are online right now, but Miley and I are dropping our beautiful new songs tonight, so if y’all can just behave for like a few hours so the girls can shine, that would be so sick, thank you,” she wrote.
West accused of the “God is a Woman” singer of using the feud to promote her music.
“All of this foolishness weighed on my mental health, so Ariana Grande you know I have love for you but until you are ready to really make sure that everyone is ok, not through me or this is the time to promote a song,” he tweeted.
Grande responded to his tweet saying her first reaction was “probably not case-sensitive.”
“With all due respect, I don’t need to have someone to promote something,” she wrote. “Period. I was just making a comment about what the men were doing at the time usa. women. It was a joke I understand now, it was probably not case-sensitive. I apologize if I in one way or another, and hope that you feel well today.”
Later she tweeted: “Anyway, I hate the internet so much. Sending the love. But as bye.”
The west has not directly commented.
