Aretha Franklin reportedly did about $1 million in uncashed checks at the time of her death, a new inventory of its assets, according to newly filed documents with the court.
The checks were $702,711.90 of the Sound Exchange and of the Screen Writers Guild, and $285,944.27 in checks from her publisher, and the Spring Publishing, EMI, BMI, Carlin Music, and Movies.
The total was $ 988,656.17, according to Billboard.
