Duncan Laurences songfestivalnummer Arcade in the Netherlands is the most streamed track in a single day on Spotify ever. That makes the streaming service Monday known to NU.nl.
Arcade is on one day, Sunday, of 1.24 million times, streamed. Was that record in the hands of Frenna and Lil’ Small. Their song, Past Time was within 24 hours 930.000 times streamed.
A day after the profit is the number worldwide, 2.8 million times, streamed, says spokesman Wilbert Mutsaers. “That is the winner of last year, Netta, with the number TOY, not successful. Her song was last year a day after the earnings 1.1 million times listened to through Spotify.”
“All for the final was Arcade the most appreciated song in the playlist of Eurovision, because It number is the least frequently skipped”, Mutsaers further. “He is also now fourteenth in the Global Music playlist, and he is the highest new entry. That is really a large, international playlist. This is something that I have not previously experienced. Netta is this last year was not successful, and also the other songfestivaldeelnemers of this year are not in the list. This shows that the different streams have to be huge.” How big those differences are exactly, the training course does not say.

Arcade also be listened to in Japan and America
In the Netherlands it was ‘Duncan Laurence – Arcade’ Sunday, the most sought-after search. “That Arcade is picked up by our country and by, for example, Sweden and Germany, was to be expected. But also in Japan and the united states will be listened to,” says Mutsaers.
“So is Arcade added to a number of major international playlists including Pop Rising. That means that there is a lot of confidence in the number, and it is seen as a potential pop song and not a gimmick. How the number in the coming weeks on Spotify’s going to do, I can not say, but the indications are very good.”
