Apple’s Music gets cheaper subscription for students in the Netherlands

Apple has a studentenabonnement for the music service Apple Music introduced in the Netherlands.

That discovered Macrumors. The studentenactie would now in several new countries.

Students with the subscription to pay 5 euro per month for Apple’s Music, instead of the usual 10 euros. A user must have at a college or university are enrolled.

Apple offers special subscription already longer in the United States and Germany. Now is the same subscription in the Netherlands also offered. In addition, 24 other countries now also a studentenabonnement, including Belgium and France.

Competitor Spotify offers a similar subscription, but does this only in the United States. The music service said in 2014 discount like to offer to Dutch students, but not until now.
