(Reuters) – Apple Inc said on Thursday it would recall of a limited number of the 15-inch MacBook and MacBook Pro systems, when the batteries are prone to overheating and pose a fire safety risk.
The units were sold between September 2015 and February 2017, and may be identified by a serial number of the product, the company said in a statement here
Apple, which has asked customers to stop using the affected MacBook Pro units, he said, the recall does not affect any other units, Mac, or linux laptops.
