MOSCOW (Reuters) – Apple’s (AAPL.(O) has been studied in Russia, and in response to a complaint of a cyber security company, Kaspersky Lab, and the possibility of abuse of its dominant position in the smartphone apps, as Russia’s anti-monopoly watchdog said on Thursday.

The watchdog FAS said that it was an investigation into why the new version of Kaspersky Lab’s Safe to Kids and the application had not been upgraded to the Apple operating system, which will result in a significant loss in the functionality of the app.

It is said, Apple had released an updated version of its own app to Display the Time, which has the same functions as the Kaspersky lab software program.
