The democratic party can expect even more progressive pushback in the 2020 primaries as a prominent climate group on Thursday extended “insurgent” candidates in order to garner future Congress support for the Green New Deal.

The group, known as the Sunrise movement, worked with Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-NY, to promote their signature in the legislation and even your against House Speaker Nancy Pelosi ‘ s entered office in the year 2018.
