Hillary’s America: The Secret History of the Democratic y and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice have in the presentation of the 37th Golden Raspberry Awards, the most awards. The awards, or ‘Razzies’ as they are called, are given to the worst filmprestaties in the past year.
The anti-Hillary Clinton movie from director Dinesh D’Souza received a total of four Razzies: worst movie, worst director, worst actor (also D’Souza) and worst actress (Becky Turner, who in the film the role Clinton played).
D’Souza responded to his “profit” with a video message. “The reason why I price get, is because you are angry because of the income of Donald Trump.”
Batman v Superman has also received four prizes for the worst male secondary role (Jesse Eisenberg) and worst film duo (Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill in the roles of Batman and Superman).
There was one Razzie: the “prize” for worst female supporting role went to Kristen Wiig in Zoolander 2. This film was also nominated for worst movie.
The Razzie Redeemer Award went this year to Mel Gibson for his production of the oscar-nominated Hacksaw Ridge. This prize is meant for an actor who has been nominated for a Razzie, but who knows how to “pick up” with a good roll of film or director.
The Golden Raspberry Awards are awarded annually, one day before the oscar ceremony.
