The Protection Of The Privacy
Q: I value my privacy. I hate all the tracking that happens online. Is there a way I can stop it for good?
A: In many ways, I am glad that major digital crimes have grabbed so many headlines over the past few years – not because I want people to face-off with the hackers or lose their bank account details, but since so many people are finally cyber security seriously. Even your browser and search engine seems to be a conspiracy against you, the announcement of your IP address for everyone that has access. It is frustrating and frightening, and fortunately, you don’t have to suffer the exposure, not more. Click here for the ways in which professionals increase their online privacy.

Q: When I Google something, I see ads for that search, where I go online. Is it possible to use the internet without seeing these ads?
A: Your search history is very useful, but it is also manifest to anyone who finds it. Cookies are perhaps the most sinister offenders who are small files that your computer will automatically download when you visit a website. Cookies are usually used to bombard you with targeted ads. Fortunately, the users require a change, and there are many ways to surf the internet without leaving a trace. Click here for a browser that you can be anonymous on the internet.
Q: I love your radio show podcasts. What topics do you cover in your other podcasts, and how can you get them?
A: First of all, thank you for the kind words. It’s funny, because I think about my early career in radio, when everything was analog, and how hard it was to get my archives show. These days, it’s like a standard operating procedure, record shows digitally, and then make them available online. In this way everyone to listen to each episode at any time. Converting from Film to Digital
Q: I have a ton of old slides and photos of my parents’ estate. How can I get them in my computer? I would like to share them with my family.
A: Like so many people, the “carousel” was a Feature of my youth. I still find the slide projector to magic, the way in which a lot of people are attracted to the making of plates. But traditional is rapidly disappearing, and that old slides and 35mm reels will only decrease to extinction if we can’t digitize them for posterity. Some collections are large enough that families who invest in their own specialist scanner, but most of us prefer to go with this task to a professional. Some services will even touch up damaged photos, making them look good as new. Click here for the best photo scanning services.
The Apps Mosquitoes Hate
Q: Have the apps for your phone that to get rid of mosquitoes work? I saw them, but I have my doubts.
A: There’s an app for everything, but as a digital mosquito repellent sounds like science fiction, I don’t blame you for thinking. Mosquitoes ruin everything, and most of us will continue to use a trusty can of DEET or citronella candle to keep the blood-thirsty insects at a distance. But if you have a smartphone, and you spend a lot of time in the outdoors, you must use one of these apps a shot. Not surprisingly, there are also unique gadgets that will help you with your six-legged problem. My recommendation is to combine the two: use a little spray, tinkering with the app, and you can just look for a welt free summer. Click here for the best apps that mosquitoes repel.
