HELSINKI (Reuters) – Rovio Entertainment, the creator of the 10-year-old, “Angry Birds” mobile game in the series, which is on a Wednesday, with a 48% drop in its quarterly profit year-on-year, due to higher costs for the acquisition of new players.
The Finnish company, which listed its shares last year, and cut its 2019 outlook, the higher investment costs of the previous month, it said third-quarter operating profit of 5.4 million euro ($6.00 million), while revenue grew by 5.4% in the year to 74.8 million euros.
