Americans may be the first dead, due to lung disease after smoking e-cigarettes

A longpatiënt in the Us state of Illinois last week, died as a result of an illness which is likely to have been caused by the smoking of e-cigarettes, reports ABC News. This would be the first deceased person, as a result of the illness, due to electronic cigarettes.

The local health department in Illinois has reported the death but did not give any details, such as name, age, ethnicity, and date of death of the patient.

193 people from 22 U.s. states, is currently in serious respiratory conditions as a result of the electronic cigarettes is suffering, and notify the authorities.

Whether the disease is actually due to e cigarettes is to be raised has not yet been definitively determined and is still under investigation. However, all of the 193 patients, of the users of electronic cigarettes, and it is ruled out that the infectious diseases are concerned.

Possible risk of e-cigarettes has not yet been determined

There are many different opinions and studies on the potential dangers of e-cigarettes. As claimed in a British study, by 2015, the electronic cigarettes is 95% less dangerous than regular cigarettes.
