American Shiffrin supreme in slalom at world CHAMPIONSHIPS
The American ski professionals Mikaela Shiffrin has Saturday with force majeure and the world title in the slalom caught. She was by far the fastest in both runs.
For the 21-year-old American her first title at the tournament in Sankt Moritz and her third in total. Previously, she was also in the 2013 and 2015 world champion on the slalom
Shiffrin had after two runs ahead of 1,64 second, on the Swiss Wendy Holdener, which is the silver handle. The Swedish Frida Hansdotter was at 1.75 second down good for bronze.
The American picked up her second medal at the world CHAMPIONSHIPS. Earlier handle Shiffrin silver in the giant slalom. Gold was there when in front of the Frenchwoman Tessa Worley.
