An unruly passenger forced an American Airlines flight from Arizona to Minnesota to make an emergency landing on Friday after the suspect allegedly threatened the passengers, screaming, ‘you’re screwed’, and put out a cigarette in the cabin and in the bathroom, two of the passengers tell Fox News.
Jim Dickey said that he and his wife, Megan, were on the flight, on their way to a conference to be held in Minneapolis, for example, when 30 minutes into the trip, the couple heard about the unruly passenger from hitting it on something, and swearing at a passenger.
The man continued to argue with another passenger to get in before the seat of the woman in front of him, who was saying this, Dickey says. It is said that the man hit the plane a couple of times, and that’s the point, Dickey, and his wife knew that something was wrong.

“My wife and I were like, ‘we’re not going to make it to Atlanta,'” Dickey said.
That was about an hour into the flight from Phoenix to Minneapolis, the pilot announced that there was “a security issue has been at the back,” to which the flight is to be diverted and land in Denver, Colorado, usa.
“I don’t think anyone knew what that was,” Dickey said.
The couple said they had a perfect view into the bathroom, where she noticed that the man walking down the aisle to the bathroom, while screaming that he had to pee.
“He is going to go to the bathroom, and we hear a scream, [a], and he’s hitting the boards. We’re not quite sure what’s going on out there,” Dickey said. “He started out by smoking a cigarette in the zit…De a flight attendant was hoping, perhaps, that he would have to stay in the room.”
“He was yelling ‘you’re screwed’ when he was in the room and bathroom were a little bit nervous when we got back on the same plane,” he added.
The plane was about to land, and the man left the restroom and went back to his seat, where he was described as very nervous, according to TMZ. Dickey says, all around him was the smell of cigarette smoke coming out of the bathroom at that point.

As soon as the plane is on the runway, the video shows the man being confronted by the flight and the presence of staff, police officers, and EMT’s.
That’s when he decided to make light of what Dickey was saying, it was his second cigarette.
The pilot was heard to the question in the first 13 rows of the passengers to leave the plane, so they can remove the man, who reportedly beat one of the other passengers as they attempted to exit.
The man was eventually handcuffed by the police, who have him on a stretcher, where he was heard to shout, “Take it off, it hurts. I will f-ing kill you!” TMZ has reported.
The plane took off to Barcelona, two hours later, according to the outlet.
As a sales representative for American Airlines confirmed to Fox News on Saturday, the Flight, the 2408 was diverted due to a “disruptive passenger” and law enforcement to meet the aircraft, before it is once again gone.
