(Ap) – Amazon.com Inc. (AMZN.(O) said on Monday it would be hiring 100,000 in the warehouse and delivery workers in the United States of america to deal with a rise in online orders, as the consumer, to shop, to heavy, out of fear of the spread of the corona virus outbreak.
Amazon says it would invest more than $350 million to increase the pay for employees in the united states and Canada by up to $2 an hour, £ 2 in the uk, and about 2, respectively, in the European Union.
Currently, it pays $15 an hour for workers in the U.S. fulfillment centers.
