JERUSALEM (Reuters) – E-commerce giant Amazon (AMZN.(O) agreed to buy an Israeli storage technology startup, E8, Storage, and in the Israeli financial press reported on Wednesday.
For the Globes news site, and other leading financial media outlets have reported that the E8 Storage of employees to join the Amazon Web Services-development center in Tel Aviv, after the take-over.
Globes said the deal values the E8-Sitting in the $50-$60 million.
The voices of the Amazon, Amazon Web Services, and E8 in Storage and could not immediately be reached for comment.
E8 Storage, according to its Twitter account, offering flash storage in a single rack-scale-architecture-for-the-enterprise-and-software-defined, cloud and more.
