Amazon is launching an initiative to pool of virtual assistants in one unit

(Ap) – Amazon.com Inc., has launched an initiative that allows users to gain access to the Alexa,, Microsoft Corp. (nasdaq: msft Cortana, and many other voice-activated virtual ” assistant services are a single unit.

The move comes as competition has increased among the global technology companies have dominated the market for voice assistants, who are often housed in a smart, speakers, and mobile devices.
