Amazon gets U.s. patent, the use of delivery drones, for surveillance, security service

(Ap) – Inc., is exploring the use of drones is not only to deliver the packages, but you also have to have the monitoring as a service to its customers on the basis of a patent issued by the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

To the supply drones that can be used to record video of the consent, the property of the user in order to gather data that can be analyzed to look for, say for example a broken window or a fire, or a garage door open during the day, and in the patent described above.

According to the patent, and the security of the drone and can be restricted by using geo-fencing, a technology that is used to draw a virtual fence around the property of the control. If any image or other data to the drone starts out with the geo-fence would be covered up or removed.

The application for the patent was filed through the e-commerce giant in 2015, and will be granted on the 4th of June.

Earlier this month, Amazon said that it will begin using drones to deliver packages to customers in 30 minutes or less in the next few months.
