In the weekend of 2 and 3 June in a historic katoenopslagplaats in the Harbor of Gent, the second edition of the PURR wine place. Thirty European winemakers come that weekend to the Muide to their wine, story and vision to the public.
Natural winemakers distinguish themselves from the conventional winemaking both in the vineyard and in the cellar far to stay away from pesticides, chemicals or major industrial processes that the end product is level and of their original character, rob. The result is an artisanal wine made with respect for man and nature. It’s these creators that, during the first weekend of June will become central to PURR.
The three young guys from gent Jason Zappa Janse, Stijn Demeulemeester and Tristan Lybaert store now for the second time, the hands in each other to the alternative wine from the soil to pitch. Do you expect the stock market to more than just taste wine: the lord promises a real immersion in a lifestyle. Explains Jason: “The experience is in the small details: ergonomic, ge-üpcyclede pitches; democratic prices; an exceptional location; and a casual, relaxed and intimate atmosphere.’
The wine fair takes place in the cold cellars of the Warehouse 20, and will open its doors on Saturday between 15.00 and 22: 00 pm, and on Sunday between 11h00 and 18h00. The entrance for the fair is $ 10 and the online ticket sales start on 1 april. Everyone is welcome to PURR: professional and private, connoisseurs and enthusiasts, young and old. More than 150 wines will be tasted.
