‘Also occasionally exercise has beneficial effect on the health’
You don’t need any day to move to stay fit. Also one or two times per week, exercise has a beneficial effect on the health.
That write British researchers in the magazine Journal of the American Medical Association (Jama).
The world health organization (WHO) writes 75 minutes of good, or 150 minutes of moderate exercise per week, preferably spread throughout the week. In the Netherlands, says the advice for a half-hour of exercise per day.
“Quality is probably more important than quantity”, says researcher Gary O’Donovan. For the research were the data of 63.591 adults in England and Scotland between 1994 and 2012 were analyzed.
Researchers looked at the health and possible causes of death of adults which almost never sportten, adults who regularly sportten and adults that their recommended movement in one or two sessions and stopped.
The effects in the latter two groups were virtually the same. The last group had 40 percent less likely to die from heart disease. The general mortality risk was 30 percent lower and there was 18 percent less likely to die as a result of cancer.
