Almost two thousand young refugees receive free dictionary
To estimate 1.870 children between the ages of zero and four years old who are currently in detention centres stay, get the dictionary Hello. The author of the book, Marie Claire Loudon, presents the first copy on Thursday in the asylum seekers ‘ centre in Amsterdam.
With the dictionary, they learn the first Dutch words, which are to be found in themes as well as breakfast and dinner, you wash and brush your teeth, nursery and school, supermarket and children’s playground, traffic, and family.
The accompanying photographs and design to make it according to the publishing house Ploegsma clear and recognizable for both Dutch-speaking children as peers from another country who speak the language yet not speak.
