Alligator takes a bite out of Louisiana’s deputy’s patrol car

This species is not to take a bite out of crime — but if he had been a part of a crime-fighters’ vehicle.

The Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office in Louisiana said on Facebook, a deputy saw an 8-foot alligator on Monday, in the middle of Highway 1, but before the start of the conversation, the police learned that the gator just wanted to eat and run.

Deputies attempted to get the gator on the road in north Caddo Parish, while awaiting the arrival of wildlife removal experts.

But the gator wasn’t going to have to be fixed. The species will eventually escape the long arm of the law after taking a bite out of a deputy’s patrol vehicle.

Photos posted on the sheriff’s Facebook to show the gator lurking in the tall grass, and the damage caused to the vehicle after that.

Fire and rescue teams are playing with a gator that wandered into a back yard.

A small piece of the bumper that was torn away from the vehicle and was seen lying on the road.

“The one that got away…,” the sheriff’s office wrote.
