All of Holland Bakes remains at least three years at Omroep MAX
The transfer of succesformat The Great British Bake Off in Great Britain to another station has at the moment no consequences for all of Holland Bakes, the Dutch version of the program. Omroep MAX has after this season is still at least three years, the rights of the program, and ordered director Jan Slagter Monday night know.
“To govern is to look ahead, and we know what all of Holland Bakes is worth,” says Slagter. “We have properly negotiated. But the contract is closed. The fact that producer Love Productions in Great Britain with any other party in the sea, will not change a thing.”
Up until now, BBC Worldwide, the party who is the producer for the formatrechten sold abroad. It is not clear whether this is so remains now the BBC the broadcasting rights in Britain is lost. Love Productions and the BBC differed of opinion about the amount to pay and the price that the format in the coming years should take.
Also in this area think Slagter is not that there is in the Netherlands a lot is going to change over the next three years. “The British monitor the format, however, strict”, he acknowledges. “But I can’t imagine these developments in Britain, in the short term, have consequences for the Dutch broadcasts.”
All of Holland Bakes turned out the past few weeks still a kijkcijferkanon. The presentation this season is temporarily taken over by André van Duin because Martine Bijl recovers from a brain hemorrhage.
