Former “Bachelorette” Ali Fedotowsky, right, revealed that she and her husband Kevin Manno have not slept, they had their second child.
Ali Fedotowsky is really about the challenging parts of motherhood.
The 33-year-old Bachelorette opened up to ET’s Katie Krause about marriage, parenting and body image in Hallmark’s Summer TCA last week. Fedotowsky and her man, Kevin Manno, welcomed baby boy Riley back in May. The couple also shares a 2-year-old daughter, Molly.
“My husband and I have not slept in the same bed, in two months,” Fedotowsky, who is part of the Hallmark Home & Family,'” revealed.
“He does a morning radio show very early in the morning and I need him for a good night’s sleep. Even in the weekend, if he’s not doing the show, I need him for a good sleep, so he wakes up with Molly, so I can have a few extra hours of sleep.”

If Manno gets home from work around noon, he takes over parenting duties, which makes it possible for the reality star to concentrate on her blog and other things to do.
“It’s a lot. Our relationship is suffering. I would like to say: ‘Oh yes, I and my husband are passion on the side, with our two children,” but I’m not even sure that I’ve made with my husband in a very long time,” Fedotowsky said.
“We love each other so much. We know that this is a time where the children come first and we ended up making our first relationship. And we will, but we’re in the thick of it [now]. We have a 2-year-old and a 2-month-old. We are all just children at this time. Eventually we’re going to be with passion and have a great time, but it is just too difficult at this time.”
Though they have the sleeping quarters somewhat elaborated, it does not mean that the parents actually get a lots of shut eye.

“When Riley is sleeping… my 2-year-old Molly wants my attention. It is so hard, but it’s great,” Fedotowsky said.
“It’s a weird balance, because I want to not like ‘OMG, that a mother is so hard, blah blah blah,” but I also don’t want to come across as ‘a mother is great! Motherhood is pure enjoy!’ It is a juggling act for sure and I wish that someone told me that it was much harder, because maybe I would wait a little bit more.”
Fedotowsky is also open about her post-pregnancy body. In an Instagram post earlier this month, she shared photos that exhibited her scars, loose skin, and the persistent abdomen in order to help women accept their bodies.
“One day I was taking photos in this swimwear line and I was looking at the pictures after… and I was like, ‘That’s not what I look like… that is not what I want to see, because that is not what I look like.’ When I look in the mirror, that’s not what I see,” she said.
“And so… I was like, okay, this is my stomach… I thought it was important to show, but… I had no idea how many women need to see that. I was blown away by the reaction of the woman… I did not expect the answer. It’s just so cool to see how many women that post inspired to love themselves more and accept yourself more.”

Though she was initially reluctant to share the post, her husband helped to give her the courage to go through with it.
“I would never have been able to post that as my husband, Kevin, was not so great. Because at the end of the day, the only person I care about who looks at my body is him. He’s who I want to look at my body and love my body, besides myself,” Fedotowsky said.
“He loves me, and so it was all about, and thought it was awesome I was doing, and I feel confident. I would never have been able to do that if it wasn’t for him.”
