Trebek announced that he was diagnosed with stage 4 cancer of the pancreas YouTube at the end of March.
“Now, normally, the prognosis is not very encouraging, but I’m going to fight this, and I’m going to keep working,” he said in the video. “And with all the love and support of my family and friends, and with the help of your prayers in my behalf also, so I’m going to have to beat for the low survival statistics for this disease.”
