During the “Jeopardy!” host Alex Trebek has no plans to retire, he has a few ideas about who could replace him in the future.

“It’s probably going to be a woman, someone younger, someone who is clear, someone clever, someone with a great sense of humor,” he said at the 92nd Street Y, a joke, “So I nominated Betty White.”

We told Trebek have a number of serious contenders, as CNN’s Laura Coates, LA Kings broadcaster Alex Faust and TCM’s Ben Mankiewicz.

Trebek also revealed, “I always wanted to be the governor general of Canada … It’s usually a PR on Your journey through the country, its people feel good about themselves.”
