“Jeopardy!” host Alex Trebek joined the “Wheel of Fortune” hosts Pat Sajak and Vanna White on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame Friday will be celebrated with the unveiling of a star in honor of the producer, Harry Friedman.
“I hosted my first tv quiz show in the year 1964, and over the past 55 years, there are many, many other game shows, quiz shows, of which I have had the pleasure of hosting,” Trebek said, according to Variety.

He went on to say, “It has been my honor to work with some of the brightest minds of the tv during the day: Mark Goodson, Merrill Heater, and I would have Harry Friedman in this company. He is always pushing the envelope, and he’s very imaginative, and he is working hard to stay ahead of the game.”
Friedman was, for the first time as a producer for “good luck” in 1995, when he took on the same role on “Jeopardy!” in July 1997. He has been an executive producer on both shows, since the year 1999.

“For me, it is when you are working in this sector, if you have the professional relationship and the personal relationship, it doesn’t get much better than that,” Trebek is closed. “So, I’ve been very happy with all of you today to share with you our good wishes for a husband who deserves it, Harry Friedman, thank you.”
The appearance comes just a few days after, Trebek has appeared in a public service announcement about pancreatic cancer.

“I wish I had been aware of the persistent abdominal pain I had before my diagnosis was a symptom of the cancer to other parts of the world,” he said in the minute-long video. “Many of the most common symptoms include mid-back pain, unexplained weight loss, and new on-set of diabetes, and the yellowing of the skin or eyes.
Trebek said recently that his battle with the cancer on other parts of the world can lead to him to leave ‘Jeopardy!’, which he has hosted since 1984.

“I’m sure that there are thoughtful members of the television audience, that makes sense, but they can be forgiven,” Trebek told CTV. “However, there will come a point when they will no longer be able to say,” It’s OKAY.”
