Alan Arkin plays a role in the live-action version of Dumbo
Actor Alan Arkin has been added to the cast of Dumbo, the live-action version of the Disney animated cartoon from 1941.
He will appear alongside Colin Farrell, Eva Green, Michael Keaton and Danny DeVito. The 83-year-old Argo actor will be the character of a Wall Street tycoon, jr., reported Variety.
Director Tim Burton will be the famous story of Dumbo to breathe new life into with a mix of live action and computer animations.
The creators have stated that the world of Dumbo more than the original story which circusolifant Dumbo learns to fly. The story of the new version will go to a former circus performer (Farrell) who after the war returned to work. He has been given the task to care for Dumbo, an elephant with big ears. When his children discover that Dumbo can fly, like others of the animal a star.
