Alabama’s college student-athletes allegedly hit the tower, and left to die in the woods, officials say

The two former Alabama college athletes-were said to have been arrested, after beating a field with a baseball bat and leaving it to die, the officials said.

Thomas Landon Grant, Jacob Frye, both 19, were charged following the May 5 incident, in which a group of students with baseball players, who were part of the Central Alabama Community College in Alexander City, allegedly picked up one duck after attending a party.

The students allegedly went to a small pond located on the college campus, and I have a white Muscovy duck, AL.com have been reported. Officials say they’re in the car with the bat, took it to a nearby house and placed it in his pocket.

At that point, one of the students reportedly wanted to “put it out of its misery,” and allegedly struck the car continued, before throwing it away in a wooded area.

A coach will be notified of the incident shortly after and found out he was still living in the woods. It was later on killed, the officials said.

A police investigation led to warrants against Grant, who was arrested on the 31st of May, and Frye, who turned himself in to police last week. The two men have been charged with aggravated cruelty to animals.
