As a person of interest was taken into custody the night of Sunday to Monday in the case of a 3-year-old Alabama girl who was thought to have been kidnapped from a birthday party this weekend – the child’s place of residence is a mystery.

Investigators later released a surveillance photo of a vehicle and an unknown male announcing Sunday night that the two had been found, and the person has been detained for questioning, FOX10 reported.
“I feel a little better for them, but the search goes on, because the Cake was still not at home,” the girl’s father, Dominic McKinney, told the AL.com. “We still don’t have to stop. It makes me feel better that they have him, that’s what I do, but until I see the baby, they will be able to catch him all day.”

The SUV seen in the surveillance photos had been found parked at a condo complex about 10 miles away from McKinney’s home. The residents living there are told to AL.com she called 911 after she pointed at the car and determined that the man in the photo was a neighbor.

Dominic McKinney also said that his daughter is very sweet and loving — and it “ain’t a girl in the car with just anyone.”
“We have a family who is very angry, who was very upset, as a community, it is very, very angry right now,” said Praytor AL.com. “We will continue to press this case until we find out the Chamomile.”
