Maximilian Wöber and Thomas Müller are both by the UEFA for two European matches suspended following their red card in the Champions League encounter last month between Ajax and Bayern Munich (3-3).
Ajax defender Wöber committed a hard violation on the ankle of Leon Goretzka, while Bayern attacker, Müller a kind of karatetrap gave them to the head of Nicolás Tagliafico.
Müller was shocked by his own action and was, therefore, immediately after the heated confrontation in the Johan Cruijff ArenA, Amsterdam on Twitter his apologies to Tagliafico
“Via this way I want to apologize to Nico Tagliafico for the incident of yesterday. It was not intentional. Change for the better”, wrote the German on the social medium.
Müller also sent a message directly to Tagliafico which he sorry said. The Argentinian reacted quickly: “I know that it was not intentionally. I’m okay, thanks for asking.”
It is still the question of whether Wöber his suspension sentence at Ajax. The Austrian is on the point of to for reportedly a sum between 12 and 14 million euros to leave for Seville.
