Ajax book profit of 29.5 million euro in the first half of season

Ajax has about the first half of the financial year 2016/2017 a net profit of 29.5 million euros. This is evident from the figures that the Amsterdammers Monday have been published.

The profit is for a large part be traced back to the income from the transfers, since Ajax this year played a part in the lucrative Champions League.

Ajax loved to transfers in a total of 36.4 million euros. The club was given until 31 december 45.1 million euros. This was due to the sale of players like Jasper Cillessen (FC Barcelona), Arek Owned (Napoli) and Riechedly Bazoer (VfL Wolfsburg). Itself gave Ajax 8.7 million euros.

Despite missing out on the Champions League, net sales increased by $ 2.6 million to 54.8 million euros. Also the total equity went up 29.8 million euros up to 138.7 million euros.
