CCTV footage captures thief stealing two envelopes with more than $ 9,000 of any other passenger in the tray of the Fiumicino airport in Rome.
A thief at an airport in Rome was caught red-handed by the security footage stealing more than $9,000 each, money of an other passenger, as they went through security.
The Polizia di Stato, one of the national police of Italy, showed the CCTV footage from the Airport Fiumicino on Twitter Friday.

The video shows a man with a striped T-shirt place two envelopes with money in a hot tub on the conveyor belt as he waits to go through the X-ray machine. Behind him, a man in a white t-shirt, runs by a different X-ray machine and comes out on the first man.
Their belongings are by the machine to be picked up, the man in the white shirt is see the envelopes full of money and grabs them before he took his own belongings and disappear. The man in the striped shirt than by the X-ray machine and begins frantically to search for all empty barrels for his missing money.
According to the police, the thief hid the money in the bathroom to take it at a later time. He was eventually arrested and the money that was used for the medical care of the owner of the relative, had returned.
