Airbnb’s CEO said on Saturday the company, would prohibit the “party houses”, and to implement stricter security measures following a deadly shooting at a Halloween party hosted at a rented house in California has left five people dead.
In a series of tweets, Airbnb CEO Brian Chesky said in a San Francisco-based company that would prevent a third-party in-Airbnb-rentals from residential units as a result of the expansion of the manual screening of high-risk reservations that are highlighted by our risk-detection technology, and the creation of a “dedicated “party house” of the rapid response team.”
“What happened on Thursday night in Orinda, CA, it was horrible,” Chesky said. “I feel for the families and neighbors affected by this tragedy, we are working to support them.”

Gunfire broke down around 11 a.m. Thursday, at a time in an Airbnb in Orinda, about 15 miles east of Oakland in the united states. Three of the victims were pronounced dead at the scene, and the victims succumbed to the injuries related to the shooting incident and died days later.
Not less than 100 party-goers were packed into the four-bedroom house, which was rented by a woman who told me that the owner and her dozens of family members, had asthma, and needed to get away from the smoke from the ongoing forest fires that have plagued a large swath of Sonoma County, a person with knowledge of the transaction told The Associated Press.
The owner is reminded of the tenant, and that there are no parties allowed in the house, which, by law, has a limited capacity of 13 people.
The neighbours complained to the owner, Michael, Wang, on the feast day, Wang to call the police.

Before the government can come in to break up the party, shots rang out. No arrests have been made, and there is no known motive for the attack. Two of the guns were found at the home, authorities said.
Neighbors told KGO-there were wild celebrations on Airbnb and there were at least two noise complaints about the party change.
Airbnb said that it was “an urgent investigation” of what happened, the spokesman Ben Breit said in an e-mail to the Associated Press, adding that it is forbidden for the lessee on the platform and in the house, it was removed as a listing.
