Air France and Iberia delete temporary flights to Venezuela
Airlines Air France and Iberia delete the next days flights to Venezuela. There are Sunday riots expected due to the election for a “constituent assembly”.
Iberia announced that a Sunday scheduled flight between Madrid and the Venezuelan capital Caracas for safety reasons, shall be deleted. Travellers can at the earliest on Wednesday 2 August with the society on Venezuela fly.
Air France said in a statement to French media know that from Sunday to Tuesday, no flights will be carried out. “The safety of customers and employees is a priority”, the company said.
Previously went on strike, other airlines all flights to the South American country. These include Lufthansa, Air Canada and Delta Airlines.
