Agents injured in massaprotest after shooting incident in US
At least twelve police officers were on Tuesday injured in a massaprotest against police violence in the Us city of Charlotte-Mecklenburg in the state of North Carolina. There was tear gas used on people to disperse.
Hundreds of people went Tuesday night to the streets, after a police officer in a parking lot at a university campus, a man had been shot. Deep in the night there were riots, writes the local newspaper, the Charlotte Observer.
The 43-year-old victim that was killed was black, just like the cop who shot. According to the police there was a search for a fugitive suspect. A victim with a gun in his hand from the car are stepped on when he was shot. The police states that the gun that the man had at the place of the shooting incident is found.
According to a surviving relative was the man was not armed. He should be in his car a book to read, after which he was getaserd and shot.
Hundreds of people took to the streets to protest against police brutality against black Americans. They shouted slogans like “Black lives matter” and “No justice, no freedom”.
Surely one police car during the protest destroyed. Protesters threw also with water bottles and stones at the police. They blocked the highway and created fire on the road.
