According to Hegseth, you asked about the raising of children, McRaven praised milennials as the “next greatest generation.”
“I’m probably the biggest fan of the milennials, you’ll ever meet, and I think that people are surprised,” he said. “I hear that the milennials are spoiled, and they are soft and you are entitled to. I’m quick to tell people, “you will never saw them in a firefight in Afghanistan’ or ‘you never saw in a classroom in the University of Texas system, which is trying to improve their lives and the lives of their families.”
